A demountable, mobile and flexible installation in Tate Liverpool’s temporary home, reconfigurable to cater for workshops for diverse audiences of all ages. Large crate-like furniture pieces play on the visual language of art handling and packing, opening up to reveal rich blue-stained interiors for storage and display. The iconography of shipping and handling is combined with silhouettes of Tate collection pieces in luxurious marbled inlays, adding a sense of refinement and a playful easter egg hunt for younger visitors.
